May 2019 – Dr Saeid Baroutian and Professor Brent Young together with the Technical University of Denmark Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (Prof Krist Gernaey, Dr Seyed Soheil Mansouri and Dr Isuru Udugama) successfully held the 1st intercontinental workshop on Resource Recovery from Bio-based Production Processes in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The workshop focused on process engineering tools; economic tools; hydrothermal processing technologies; decision-making and applications.
The workshop attracted a group of highly talented individuals from Danish academia, industry, investment bankers, and policy influencers. Saeid and Brent (in collaboration with DTU) will held the 2nd intercontinental workshop on Resource Recovery in November 2019 in Auckland.
