“On April 10th and 11th, 2025, researchers from the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, University of Auckland, and GNS Science in New Zealand joined collaborators from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) for a two-day collaboration of presentations and discussions in Livermore, CA. Supported by the NZ–US Catalyst Seeding: General fund from the Royal Society Te Apārangi and the NZ Product Accelerator, this initiative aims to strengthen international partnerships focused on advancing hydrogen science and technology. The program included technical presentations on topics of hydrogen technologies, along with strategic discussions to align research directions and explore opportunities for new joint innovation. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting the growth of a hydrogen economy through cross-border scientific and technological engagement.”
