We are excited to share that the NZ Product Accelerator team won the Velocity Innovation Challenge 2021 under the UN Sustainable Development category led by Dr. Harshpreet Singh.

The venture (H2OQUAL) aims to develop a sensitive, low-cost, and point-of-care sensing water quality monitoring system. The system will be mass-producible, which will enable ubiquitous deployment. Cloud computing and machine learning coupled with the internet-of-things (IoT) framework will be utilized to analyse sensor data and share the information.

The key opportunity here is to save lives and make our river and freshwater clean. To this effect, we propose the development of an integrated water quality monitoring system. Harshpreet is a Project lead and Portfolio Manager in NZ Product Accelerator.
